Where I find myself....

Pointless Post

Im in quite the poetic/deep mood right now....however, I have to go to work. Hate when that happens. I shall try my best to blog later. Pray I will make fast money and not be too spent to shine some "JennyBisms" later. ;)

10 Things Im NOT a Fan of Buying.

1. TOILET PAPER - I feel like I am flushing money down the toilet. Seriously, I find no value in the square sheets once their purpose is fulfilled. 2. GAS -Surprisingly, this isnt just solely because of the high prices. I actually just hate having to STOP what I am doing and get gas. However, I will confess I am one of those weirdos that likes the smell of gas when its pumping....weird, I know. 3. COIN ROLLERS - I feel like buying rollers to put my coins in is an automatic loss. And yes, I am aware that there are machines that make this process much easier, but in the end...they cost more than the rollers. -_- 4. TAXES - self explanatory. 5. AIR FOR TIRES - I had a slow leak in one of my tires and kept having to fill it. I found one machine that charged me $1.00 for stinkin' air!!!!!! I mean seriously, if I had the lung power I would put the tire in it myself! 6. WORK ALCOHOL PERMIT - The County I work in requires I...

#thatawkwardmomentwhen you realize its been over 6 months since my last blog entry! Sorry folks, life has been busy and I just slacked off. I will try to not let that happen again. But, I have def missed you and glad to be back. :)  So, lets push through the awkward reconnection after months of disconnect and just get to the point of this blog entry. No need to dwell on the distance that may have been created over the last few months between us...we're cool, right? Good. Thats what I thought. :)  I was reading a book the other day that shakes me to the core, gives me hope for the future, best romance story by far (Takes the WIN from The Notebook by a long shot), makes me a better person, great mirror to use to see your true reflection, exciting, both incredibly deep, but built upon its simplicity....The Holy Bible. :)  Philippians 1: 3-6 reads: I thank my God ever time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you. I always pray with joy because of your partnership...

Relationship status: LOVED

Song of Solomon 8:4 reads, " 4 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires." In the Jenny B translation that would read... DON'T JUMP IN FRONT OF CUPIDS ARROW IF IT WAS NOT AIMED AT YOU! I was spending time on Facebook and Twitter this morning and of course I expected the Timelines to be inundated with genuine Valentines AND sarcastic Single Awareness "I'm not the only one alone today" shout outs. But, the more I read the more I started thinking about this thing called romance & silly concept of Cupid. It's funny how some are so lonely that instead of celebrating LOVE from all sources, (i.e. God, family, friends, ect.) on Valentines Day they mourn the fact that they dont have a "Valentine". Its the typical story of "focusing on what you feel don't have instead of what you really DO have". So, maybe your relationship status still reads "SINGLE"...you have to realize that...

Now Presenting...(your name here)

I think its safe to say that we would all like to see our name in lights at some point in time. Whether you have a personality that craves the spotlight or the one that is content working behind the curtain, we all want to know that our life is important to someone else...that our life has a purpose. Your.Life.Counts. Jude 24-25 reads (The book of Jude only has 1 chapter...not a reference typo.) :) "To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy -- to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen." Action words always stick out to me while reading the Bible. Imagine heaven in all of its splendor, magnificence, beauty, the angels, the throne room, the Kingdom of Heaven. My mind cant truly fathom Heaven, let alone how completely "small" I will feel compared to its vastness. Yet, the word reads ...

You Want Fries With That?

* This blog was inspired by a message I recently preached titled "697 Notifications". Decided to turn my notes into a blog. :) Enjoy! The day McDonald's changed my mind! Friday, April 3, 2009 I was driving to North Carolina to visit friends and seek God about direction in my life. I was starving!!!! So, I stopped for gas about half way there and saw a Wendy’s right next to the gas station and typically I would gravitate towards a Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendy’s over a greasy burger from McDonald's any day! However, I decided against Wendy’s, mainly because I have to have ranch with my sandwich and trying to drive, eat my sandwich and dip it in ranch sauce just   sounded like disaster. So, I drove towards McDonald's. Now you have to understand, I HATE McDonalds… at least up to this day in my life.   Not because their food tastes nasty, but because I always seemed to receive horrible service and it usually makes me feel sick after I eat a greasy "beef...
