No Maybelline...we def are born with it.

There are some days (like this afternoon) where I go out and literally FACE the world without any or very minimal makeup up my face. And all the women scream, "WHAT!?!?!?! WHY WOULD YOU SET YOURSELF UP FOR PUBLIC HUMILIATION LIKE THAT?!?!?!?" haha ok, so thats a bit extreme. But, sometimes I need to do a "security check" and make sure that I am not putting my self worth in the makeup that I wash off of my face every night, but in the God that created me....just the way I am. Its a fun examination. Ladies I challenge you to add this to the list. You might be surprised at how much identity you have allowed yourself to find in the makeup pallet OR there is that chance you will be pleasantly surprised at the compliments you receive when you think you look your "worst". The best makeup you can wear....is a smile. :D

Cloudy with a Chance of Flexibility

It's dark and rainy outside, late November and the outside thermostat reads somewhere around 70 degrees. Somehow none of these elements seem to fit together to create a "typical November" and its definitely not the ingredients you stir up for "Holiday cheer". Or is it? We become so dependent on how things typically look or play out that we abandon the opportunity for surprise. So, what its warm and rainy and Thanksgiving is 2 days away. Yah, I like it to be a bit cooler during the holidays. I mean your supposed to be wearing a hoodie and cozying up by the fire with the ones you cherish the most during the holidays right? But, on the other hand because the weather has been a bit fickle this year (we are in GA folks) we have had more opportunity to admire the changing of the leaves before they get frost bite and just fall to their death. :) In my life the past few months I have looked around at things and posed a plethora of questions to the One who has all the...

The Beautiful Mess

***I am writing this at 3am. I am sure there are a plethora of run on sentences and grammatical errors...sue me*** When I was growing up, I used to love to rearrange my room. I started this process at a very young age (like elementary school). It wasn't just the furniture that I would change up either; I would rearrange the photos, the endless posters of Jonathan Taylor Thomas and every other BOP, Teen Bop and Tiger Beat heart throb of the late 90's that was taped onto my walls. :) I seriously, probably kept Scotch tape in business back then. :) *You're welcome Scotch*. This rearranging would happen quite often, were talking every couple months, but no less than 2 times a year. Me and my childhood best friend Sarah (who happens to have a great blog "The Lovely Life"....you should follow) would help give each others room their regular "face lifts". The need for new and exciting is a part of my personality. I get bored easy when I see the same thing day ...

Where I find myself....

Pointless Post

Im in quite the poetic/deep mood right now....however, I have to go to work. Hate when that happens. I shall try my best to blog later. Pray I will make fast money and not be too spent to shine some "JennyBisms" later. ;)

10 Things Im NOT a Fan of Buying.

1. TOILET PAPER - I feel like I am flushing money down the toilet. Seriously, I find no value in the square sheets once their purpose is fulfilled. 2. GAS -Surprisingly, this isnt just solely because of the high prices. I actually just hate having to STOP what I am doing and get gas. However, I will confess I am one of those weirdos that likes the smell of gas when its pumping....weird, I know. 3. COIN ROLLERS - I feel like buying rollers to put my coins in is an automatic loss. And yes, I am aware that there are machines that make this process much easier, but in the end...they cost more than the rollers. -_- 4. TAXES - self explanatory. 5. AIR FOR TIRES - I had a slow leak in one of my tires and kept having to fill it. I found one machine that charged me $1.00 for stinkin' air!!!!!! I mean seriously, if I had the lung power I would put the tire in it myself! 6. WORK ALCOHOL PERMIT - The County I work in requires I...

#thatawkwardmomentwhen you realize its been over 6 months since my last blog entry! Sorry folks, life has been busy and I just slacked off. I will try to not let that happen again. But, I have def missed you and glad to be back. :)  So, lets push through the awkward reconnection after months of disconnect and just get to the point of this blog entry. No need to dwell on the distance that may have been created over the last few months between us...we're cool, right? Good. Thats what I thought. :)  I was reading a book the other day that shakes me to the core, gives me hope for the future, best romance story by far (Takes the WIN from The Notebook by a long shot), makes me a better person, great mirror to use to see your true reflection, exciting, both incredibly deep, but built upon its simplicity....The Holy Bible. :)  Philippians 1: 3-6 reads: I thank my God ever time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you. I always pray with joy because of your partnership...
